Candace Curran reads from Playing in Wrecks  & Marian Kelner reads from As a Sailboat Seeks the Wind On Thursday, June 9, at 6 p.m., local authors Candace Curran and Marian Kelner will read from their respective titles at Boswell's Books, 10 Bridge St., Shelburne Falls. Curran will share from her new volume of poetry and Kelner will read from her recently released collection of poetry, stories and essays.  Kelner's book gives "voice to the warmly compassionate, quirky vision of a woman alive to the world," carrying readers "laughing and sighing along with her on her journey among the plants, animals, and humans with whom she gratefully and gracefully shares this world." Kelner, also a songwriter, hosts the local radio show Speciocracy: Where all  Beings Have a Voice.
